Write a Unique Script and Get New PageSpy For Free!
BREMEN, Germany, May 31, 2007 - SEMBEL Software (www.sembel.net) announces
today the launch of the "Write Script, Get PageSpy for Free" action, which
coincides with the launch of new PageSpy. The action, which will be available
only for a limited time (June 1st - August 31st, 2007), allows web developers
to get a free registration key to the award-winning tool for inspecting and
debugging the source of a webpage directly in Internet Explorer browser.
In developing version 2.1.7 of PageSpy, SEMBEL's team has enhanced the Run
section and added an ability to save scripts for further use. By default
PageSpy has a set of sample scripts showing users what they can do using the
Run section. Scripts can be modified and more of them can be downloaded from
the SEMBEL's online catalog. The development of this catalog is driven by the
SEMBEL's team and independent web developers.
The goal of the "Write Script, Get PageSpy for Free" action is to
encourage web developers to contribute their own scripts to the catalog and get
a reward - a free registration key to the new version of PageSpy. Developers
can download a sample script from the catalog, format their own script
according to the instructions in the sample and submit the result to the file
script forum. Once the script has been checked and approved by SEMBEL, it'll be
published in the catalog and the contributor will get a registration key for
free.
PageSpy is an add-on for Microsoft Internet Explorer that will give web
developers and testers a pain-free ability to write and debug web pages,
understand the structure and function of existing pages on the web. Once
installed, PageSpy will add its entry to the right-click menu of Internet
Explorer so that you can open the source code of any page simply by right-
clicking it. The program will navigate directly to the HTML element where the
web page was clicked.
PageSpy will display original HTML and DOM based source code. It can also
help developers analyze forms within a web page and show all the information
they need, including form method, action and all input variables. PageSpy can
open external files (including Flash files) referenced within the web pages. It
can also run any JavaScript code within a loaded web page and evaluate regular
expressions. PageSpy is 100% ad- and virus-free.
